Ceramics Tableware Workshop with Considered Store

Join us for a fun, immersive and social evening crafting ceramic plates and table wear by hand in this pottery slab building workshop.

Suitable for all levels and experience, regardless of if you have touched pottery before, we will be rolling out and building ceramic table wear.

Led by Kate Osborne, founder of Considered Store and Kate Osborne ceramics, in the plant soaked Potting Shop, we will be exploring the different ways to slab build functional pottery.

Each attendee will have the opportunity to make 2-4 items. If you haven't attended one of our events before, expect a friendly and inclusive, fun filled atmosphere that will leave you feeling nourished and with new friends to boot.

The price includes facilitation, drinks, all materials, firing and glazing costs and finished pieces that weill be ready to pick up 14 days after the workshop.

There will be an opportunity to imprint plants into the pieces as we make new friends, explore the beauty of crafting and sip botanical infused drinks.

Botanical Dying Workshop with Considered Store

Plants and the natural world around us can create incredible results with colour in fabric. From waste food materials such as avocados, to flowers and leaves, we will explore and unpick the beautiful results of working with plants and vegetables to dye fabrics and other clothing.

Join us for an evening like no other, where we take some time to sit and appreciate plants, learn about the craft of botanical dying in a friendly social setting.

Bring along an old cotton or natural material t-shirt or item that can be upcycled and refreshed with dyes. We will be using locally sourced materials from gardens and food scraps to create beautiful colours into the fabrics.

This will be the first in a series of craft-inspired events aimed to reconnect us with the natural world and create community in Northdown Road.

All levels of crafters are welcome, and we are so excited to share our knowledge and create some beautiful things.

The ticket price includes all materials, dying and final pieces to take away.
